Arsenal Computer has the reputation of putting the best BBS readiness
on a CD-ROM available. So why are there no file listings on this
disc?
This disc was made specifically for Wildcat systems, and was especially
balanced to work with the new Wildcat "drop-in database" system.
To this effect, there is a drop-in database for this title located in
the root directory of this disc. No other file listings are provided.
If you would like to obtain copies of our regular file listings for
this disc, please feel free to call our BBS and download them.
The BBS number is 913-234-9395.
Here is what is normally supported on an Arsenal CD-ROM:
Standard PCBoard < PCBOARD.DIR >
Standard PCBoard with no high-bit ASCII Characters < PCBOARD.ASC >
Spitfire v3.5 Multiline, No high-bit ASCII Characters < SFFILES.BBS >
Spitfire v3.4 Multiline, No high-bit ASCII Characters < SFFILES.V34 >
Generic Multiline FILES.BBS with "[0]" < FILES1.BBS >
Generic Multiline FILES.BBS with "[0]" and
no high-bit ASCII Characters < FILES2.BBS >
Generic Single Line FILES.BBS with "[0]"
no high-bit ASCII Characters < FILES3.BBS >
Generic Single Line FILES.BBS, no high-bit ASCII < FILES4.BBS >
4DOS descript.ion files < DESCRIPT.ION >
Galacticomm File Listings < GALACT.BBS >
SynchroNet BBS File Listings < SYNCHRON.BBS >
TriBBS File Listings < FILES.LST >
Wildcat BBS File Listings < WILDCAT >
Also included on this disc is a Wildcat Compatible "drop-in database".
You will find it under the name WILDCAT2.DRP in the root directory.
All of these file listings are normally found in the files sub-directories
being described. In addition, all of them except for the 4DOS DESCRIPT.ION
files are normally found in their own sub-directories, under the \FILELIST
sub-directory, making it easy to use if you are configuring a door
program. If you use SFRom or EZRom, check out the \EZROM sub-directory
for a complete door setup for that program.
If you have a text based BBS file listing that you would like to see
supported on future Arsenal Products, please contact us on our
support BBS and get the format to us, so that we can help you put
your next Arsenal BBS ready CD-ROM online that much faster.
We can also help you publish your own CD-ROM if you wish. Contact us
for our current rates and services available.
